One of the first notes of this blog was dedicated in 2004 to the so-called Zapatazo, when mr Zapatero suddenly withdrew the Spanish militaries partecipating to the disastrous US intervention to Iraq.
Now Spain PM Pedro Sanchez is denying the use of the US military bases in the country to attack Iran.
He is probably using this move also for internal purposes, but it is still quite refreshing to seeing one European leader not to bow in front of these inopinated american initiatives.
Mr Rutte should take note.
